What Idol??
Do you guys have Idol fever?? You don’t know what that is?? If you follow Idols if it’s American Idols, Idols Netherlands, Idols south pool, any spin-off of that show. You have Idol fever. A few people I know asked me if I follow it. When I said no they asked me why not. Because “it’s the greatest show on earth”. The show really never appealed to me. Today Idols was on TV. I decided to take a look maybe I could understand why people liked it so much. After 10 minutes I had enough. This is one of the first episodes of this season. 10 minutes of looking at retards that think they can sing. 10 minutes of horrible sounds. Why would anybody want to look at that. Only if you see humour in rejection of people who are to dumb to know they can’t sing.
Your family and loved once have to be very cruel to let you go to an audition knowing you can’t sing. I mean if someone I know and love and that can’t sing want to audition. I’ll make sure he doesn’t go and humiliate himself on public television.
If there is nothing I can do to stop him I’ll be the first to say “I told you so”
I know after the first rounds it will be a contest between people who can sing. But I don’t think I’ll watch that. If the first 10 minutes of a show, movie, tv-series etc. are worthless, there is no way I’m looking at it. The movie Hostel being the exception to that rule.
Back to idols.
For eight years they have given us this crap and people gladly get addicted to it. To see people being humiliated in the first episodes and then to see real talented being voted off the show. Nope, not my cup of tea. And I don’t see why intelligent people would look at it.
If you have the idols fever and you really want to watch the show, you really need help. Go see a doctor, a shrink or a priest.
