Man at work
A couple of readers asked me what kind of work do I do. I’m work in the IT department of a company that produces sms-games. One of our biggest products is the sms lottery Copulot. I’me one of the guys that does the technical assistance at the live games and the lottery. Not only that, program new games and monitor the old once. At the moment alle of the games we make are used buy the company itself. So if you play sms2win or Copulot. You are playing with my work 
One of the mean responsibilities I have is monitoring our connection with the sms server of the provider. It’s not a lot of work, so I can do it while doing other work. Like building a web application to manage our incoming and out going statistics. Automating the office, using open-source office applications, building a LDAP Server (and for fun a DAAP server). Or writing a application for a new …… I can’t talk about that yet, that project is a work in progress. As soon as it’s launched I can tell more. The thing that makes my work fun is because it is difficult. Now that might sound a little strange to you guys, fun because it’s difficult. It’s a challenge and I love challenges. most of the stuff I know but I’ve always worked in a windows environment. Now I have to ge the same results in a Linux environment. I love seeing the power of Linux every day.
As you can see I hardly tell anything about the lottery itself. That is because only the technology behind it is of interest to me. People have asked me if I can help them win. No I can’t. And if I could I wouldn’t. I’m not gonna risk a job that I love so that you can win money.
So that’s my work. The reason why I don’t blog about it is because to other people it’s kinda boring. And I thing the other parts of my life are more interesting to other people.
